Summary
The documentary film "Mireille e Antonio. À bout de petit souffle", directed by Flaminia Cardini and Simone Pierini, was screened for the first time as part of the 2025 edition of the Biografilm festival, held in Bologna (Italy) on 11 June, in the Mastroianni room at the Lumière cinema.
It delicately and poetically captures the complicity between Mireille Delmas-Marty and the artist-builder Antonio Benincà in their endeavour to propose a manifesto-object, the Compass of Possibilities. From the suspended moments surrounding Mireille Delmas-Marty's departure, including the support from close friends in the bubble-house in the Forez (region of France), to the journey of the model of the Compass to Bologna in 2023, via the Château de Goutelas, this film retraces the moments in the life of an unlikely encounter and a sensitive and hopeful journey in the proposal of a Compass for humanity.
